Fantasktic is the official provider of Rainmaker migrations. It takes minutes to submit a migration and most sites are migrated in 48 hours with no downtime and our proprietary site review.
There are 3 things required to process your migration:
– Email address you used to sign up for your Rainmaker account
– Administrator role user for your WordPress admin
– FTP/SFTP user (preferred), control panel, or a backup link. Find your FTP information here.
Not only can we migrate WordPress websites to Rainmaker but we can also migrate other platforms with XML content feeds such as WordPress.com and Typepad. Be sure when submitting your migration you select the correct migration type. You can find the types of migrations we support here.
Our Rainmaker site review scans your site and provides invaluable data including your site size, migration timeline as well as what we can migrate and what we cannot. Read more about it here.
Once you’ve reviewed your Rainmaker site and are ready to move forward, you will schedule when you’d like your migration to start and submit your migration. There is no downtime to your live site during the migration and most are completed within 48 – 72 hours.
After you have submitted your site to be migrated, our continuous notifications ensure you know where your migrations stands, any delays that have occurred and as soon as your migration is completed.
We will notify you as soon as your migration is completed and give you an opportunity to preview your site and approve it before it goes live.
